Does the OGN offer a trial membership?
At this time the OGN does not and probably will not offer a trial membership.
I notice that there are chapter memberships. Is this like BNI?
Although we have the chapter memberships in common, we are not like BNI; there are many differences. The primary focus of the OGN is to give women entrepreneurs more exposure with a much needed online platform to market and introduce their businesses within their communities; and through relationship marketing, to help them stay consistently connected to, and establish loyal relationships with their customers. Also, while we welcome all types of businesses, we focus more on those businesses in direct selling and network marketing, because of the many opportunities they provide, and because there is not a marketing platform for this growing industry. Networking is a benefit of the membership, and is encouraged because it's a wonderful relationship builder. However, like BNI, we do encourage referrals. The OGN also does not have the fee structure like BNI, or any other marketing option- our Referral Rewards give our members the opportunity to market their businesses for FREE.
Why is the Original Girlfriends Network membership based?
The OGN is membership based because we represent a group of professional women entrepreneurs who are extremely passionate, dedicated and serious about the businesses we've chosen. And unfortunately, everyone in business don't always share the same sentiment. These women work together to help each other and they choose those like-minded businesswomen who share in their commitment to provide quality products and services delivered with the highest level of exceptional customer service and care. The OGN is proud to be the first to offer such a premier resource for women seeking this type of valuable, interpersonal service, that will help them be the best they can be for themselves and their customers.
What if I join the OGN and it doesn't work for me?
With the unique marketing mix that we offer, that is very unlikely. Between the detailed marketing profile on the website, the self submitted articles, educational videos, coupon listings, and the monthly networking events, if you are working your business, one or more of these methods will work for you. The members of the OGN work together to help each other get the best results possible.
Why is there a $10 membership fee for the V.I.G. (Very Important Girlfriend) members?
The V.I.G. membership is a lifetime membership. The OGN's overall commitment is to provide a premium service for our marketing members, their customers and our communities. The one time membership fee helps us to keep marketing member fees low, so that we can offer them a much needed ad/marketing service they can't get anywhere else. When they can market their businesses at an affordable cost, they can pass that savings on to their customers and to V.I.G. members, in the form of the many exclusive offers only available to V.I.G. members!
