Any diet can give you quick
results that are not sustainable. The best wayto
lose weight & keep it off is to develop a
nutrition and exercise plan that works for
you! To develop a
successful plan:
- Reduce daily calories by
15-20% of maintence calorie intake.
- Calorie intake should
never drop below 1200 per day.
- Avoid binges by eating
foods in moderation instead of eliminating
them!
- Eat 6 small meals daily.
- Always eat
breakfast!
Sustained weight
loss is difficult or impossible without
increased regular exercise. When developing
an exercise plan, keep the following keys
in mind:
- Choose both cardio and
strength training exercises you enjoy.
- Choose the right exercise
intensity.
- Be consistent!
- Develop a support group
(friends, personal trainer, or
spouse).
